Adventure Tennis Camp - Off Site Location
Tennis 3.5 hours per day Adventure 2.5 hours per day During the first part of the day, campers join our regular tennis camp and have lunch. Children will be divided by level and develop tennis strokes, rallying skills, and age appropriate competitive play. Campers learn teamwork, make friends and enjoy fun games like Angry Birds Tennis, Skyball, and Big Kahuna. All camps feature Higgins Bucks, Water Fun Day (no swimming) and the Higgins Bucks Store where children buy prizes on Fridays. In the afternoons we set out on an Adventure! Robot Inventor - Schenectady County Community College
Students will explore simple robotics using LEGO WeDo. Each week they will build models, attach sensors and motors that are plugged into a computer, and configure behaviors using simple programming. Four themes will be introduced including: Amazing Mechanisms, Wild Animals, Play Soccer and Adventure Stories. As students advance through the program extension projects can be added for those who are ready for more challenging projects.
