Prerequisite: Opti LTS Step 1 or Second Taste of Optis This two week class is based on the final two weeks of the Opti Learn to Sail process. Designed to be a refresher course for kids who have taken Opti learn to Sail but who are not yet ready for Green fleet. Teen III 2015 - Camp Appanoose
This ten day camp begins on grounds and travels to the majestic high country of the Rocky Mountains for a conditioning phase before a five day backpacking expedition. Campers will each carry all of their and the group needs in backpacks as they transverse mountains and valleys. This camp is not for super athletes, but for the young person who is willing to resist fatigue and accept challenges which will take them to the next level and create great memories. This chess camp combines the Classical strategies of chess with new innovative modern technology that creates a very FUN-damental experience for all kids regardless of their chess playing abilities. Checkmate Champions is more than a chess camp, it?s a chess experience. While in the class, students will learn not only how to play chess but they will learn the rules, history, and also how to record their games so that they can reflect on them at a later date.
