Our Little River Otters program is modeled around German Waldkindergartens, in which all of our class time is spent entirely outside! Rolling enrollment continues based on availability Outdoor classrooms naturally create endless learning opportunities for our children to nurture their own curiosity, perhaps by following animal tracks and sign, making wild crafts with leaves and treasures found on the forest floor, or using fallen logs as balance beams. Adult mentors assist in the learning, rather than lead the teachings. This is different from a "nature preschool," which infuses lessons with nature-inspired themes and balances indoor time with outdoor time, as we will be outside the ENTIRE time in all but extreme weather conditions. Proper dress and an adventurous, curious spirit is essential... and we know thats what kids do best! 978-463-2233

Teen Summer Camp (13-17) - Louisville, KY
Fun, Eco Friendly Summer Camp for teens. Come learn about found object art, nature in art, paper making, natural dying and so much more! Then once camp is over, we will have a special Gallery Showing of all the artists pieces at the June Trolley Hop. An environment encouraging use of the imagination, learning to take care of our Earth and discovering everyone is an artist! This will be at our new facility at 2216 Frankfort Avenue.

Teen Robotics Camp - Day 4 - Dublin, GA
For rising 7th-12th graders. This is a 4-day robotics workshop where we will be learning how to build and program LEGO Mindstorms. SEATS ARE LIMITED. PLEASE REGISTER IN ADVANCE AT THE REFERENCE DESK. Teens who register are expected to attend all four days of the workshop.

Sciencecraft - Middle School
This Minecraft-based camp focuses on general scientific principles and how they relate to the world of Minecraft and to the real world. Lessons in botany and biology will teach about the plants and animals that live and grow in Minecraft. Discussions about mineralogy and geology will explore the various gems and crystals found in Minecraft and explain how landscapes are made and formed. This camp also focuses on real life creatures such as Wolves who roam across the game world, just as they do in the real world.
