2016 Stanford Synchro Swim Camp - Overnight - Stanford Athletics
Stanford Synchro Swim Camp will allow athletes the opportunity to work with Olympic medalists, National Team coaches and coaches of the Stanford University Synchronized Swimming Team. During this camp, athletes will focus on and learn the importance of injury prevention based land training, sport-specific muscle strengthening, and translation of these elements into the water. They will learn the technical warm-up Stanford Synchro athletes use to train, and a short Stanford Synchro routine to perform at the end of camp. CAMP DETAILS Musical Theater: Featuring Songs from The Sound of Music Join Maria and the Von Trapp children on a musical journey in this fun-filled camp! Campers will rehearse scenes and songs from Sound of Music for an end-of-the-week performance for family and friends. In this camp, students will explore the concepts of creating their own news show. From interview skills, anchoring and broadcasting, choosing news topics that interest the campers, and even camera skills, campers will get the entire experience of building a news show. Elite Camp - University of Nebraska
This camp is designed to be an intense camp for in-going grades 6th-12th who wish to prepare themselves for high school, college or beyond. Fundamental skill development on offense, defense and conditioning principles for all positions on the floor will be stressed. Both individual and team play development will be improved by attending this camp. Many of the same drills and techniques used by Coach Yori and her staff at Nebraska will be taught. Elite Camp begins in the evening of June 1 at 7:00pm. Registration for overnight campers will begin at 5:45pm and Commuter Campers at 6:30pm. The camp runs all day on June 2-3 and concludes at 4:00pm on June 3. If your camper is also registered for Skills Camp on June 1, there will be a dinner break and the Elite Session will begin at 7:00pm.
