Children can spend their week learning to sew or improving their sewing skills. A sewing machine will be provided for each student to use during class. Beginning students will start with a tote bag and pencil pouch. Advanced students will be able to choose what they would like to make from different patterns presented. Rock Springs 4-H Center in Junction City, KS. It is about 2 - 2.5 hours away from Kansas City. Transportation will be provided, Insha'Allah. (Please see details below.) WHO MAY ATTEND THE CAMP? Young youth boys and girls ages 10-18 only. WHAT IS THE COST TO ATTEND THE CAMP? The cost is $120 per child by July 20th midnight. After July 20th, the cost will go up to $140/per child. Registration space is limited! WHEN IS THE DEADLINE TO REGISTER? For the early registration discount, the deadline to register is by Friday, July 20th. After July 20th, the prices will go up to $140. Registration will close @ 11:59 on July 31st or earlier if seats are filled. WILL TRANSPORTATION BE PROVIDED FOR THE CAMP? Our coaches are well-versed in the best coaching and training methods and are excited to share that knowledge with our campers. Events include pole vault, shot put, discus, sprints, long jump, high jump, javelin and distance running. Athletes will receive three full days of comprehensive training, technique and drills.
