Come connect with the animals and learn what they like to do for fun! This exciting camp teaches the importance of enrichment. Enrichment is anything that encourages the animals to make choices, exhibit natural or species-appropriate behaviors. It also presents mental challenges for the animal, encourages physical activity/exercise and enhances their overall health and well-being. Our campers will discover what type of enrichment is best for each animal, create it and then watch the animal ambassador enjoy it! (if time allows, you can make your own take-home enrichment for the animals in your own backyard). Please bring a refillable drink container and a sack lunch. Snacks will be provided. We ask that campers wear closed-toed shoes while at the zoo. Pre-registration is required and can be done online at www.atascadero.org or by calling 470-3360. Riverside Retreat, formerly the South Florida United Methodist Camp, was renamed in 2006 for its location on the banks of the Caloosahatchee River. Our nearly 150 acres are dotted with open meadows and grassy corridors surrounded by a lush forest of pines, cypress, palms, live oaks and other native species. The varied habitat provides beauty and the opportunity for exploration and appreciation of creation, as noted in our motto.

Hitter Elite Camp - Alaska Airlines Center
This camp is designed to fine tune hitting technique. The camp will be an intense camp with a lot of reps and one-on-one instruction. Hitters MUST be physically ready for heavy use of legs and shoulders. The Setting Elite Camp will also be held at this time. The camp will be led by Head Coach Chris Green and staff. This camp WILL BE LIMITED to 24 hitters and 12 setters. This camp fills up quickly, register early! There is a lunch break from 12pm-1pm. Lunch will not be provided. 907-786-1226

Climbing Camp - Intermediate - Breckenridge Recreation Center
So youre a veteran of Beginner Climbing Camp and you want to learn more about the technical side of climbing? This camp is just for you! Learn new skills including rappelling, advanced climbing techniques, and much more! As always, on Fridays we will be climbing outdoors, returning to the Recreation Center by 1:00pm. No camp on Wednesdays. Four-day camps are offered in three sessions running June 13-August 12. To register for this program, participants must have attended a Beginners Climbing Camp within the past 3 years or must receive approval from a Climbing Wall Instructor or the Outdoor Programs Coordinator. For questions, please call the Outdoor Programs Coordinator at 970-547-4324. Upon successful completion, climbers may move to the Advanced Climbing Camp. Winter Session 1 - Cardio Drumming - Whitmore Lake Elementary School
Cardio Drumming is sure to get your heart going. A mixture of both cardio exercise and drumming. Drum sticks are required.
