Kid's Clinic offered every other week on Wednesdays in the summer months for Kid's (riders 18 and younger) to learn how to wakeboard or wakesurf with Lake Hopatcong Marine. ALL LEVELS of riders encouraged to join, beginners or expert. LHM provide's top notch instruction from LHMwakeshop team rider, Shaina Kassaleh, and instructions from LHM's in house Wake lesson school, Wake Dreams. All of this, plus water & snacks. Open to kids ages 4-18, (different age groups available) campers are invited to Frequent Flyer's Aerial Dance Studio to learn skills on trapeze, aerial fabric, sling, acrobatics and so much more. Campers will work to combine dance, theater and improvisation to cultivate the skills necessary to become a performing artist. Each week campers will divide into groups based on age and ability to help us transform the equipment into a magical world of flying bodies and soaring spirits! Beastly Behavior: Learn about the animals that live in Russian Jack Springs Park in the creek and on the land. Meet a wildlife biologist and find out how they track animals through the city. Art, science, technology and math! Troy Rogers is a composer, instrument builder, and educator whose work often finds itself at various intersections of art and technology. For more than ten years, he has been creating robotic musical instruments and producing music for these novel devices. He will provide an ensemble of percussion robots for the workshop and guide students through the process. Kits available for purchase but not required for workshop participation. Camp Casa is a place for students ages 8-14 of all skill levels to come and participate in professional training in the performing arts. It is a place for beginners to develop their theatrical craft and have fun, as well as a place for the advanced to hone their artistic skills. In addition to rehearsing and producing a full-length show (see below), campers will take classes in acting, music and dance. This years Camp Casa show will be THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE JR. By Gilbert and Sullivan! Camp will be held Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM- 5:00 PM, June 27-July 15 2016. Performances of THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE JR. will be the weekend of July 15-17. The cost of Camp Casa is $1,000, plus a non-refundable $25.00 registration fee. A deposit of at least 10% of the full cost of the camp is due upon registration. The remaining balance is due no later than the first day of Camp (Monday, June 27th). You may cancel your registration up until 5PM on Monday, June 6th.
