LATEST CAMPS NEWS: Advanced Development Camp: Session 3 - Cabin John Regional Park
Big Train Manager Sal Colangelo has designed these camps for advanced training for young players with above-average skills. On Monday, Big Train players and coaches will lead the campers through a series of drills designed to improve skills and choose teams for the weeks showcase games. Each day from Tuesday through Friday, camp will begin with one hour of skills training followed by a 7-inning showcase game on Field #2. Each camper will receive an official Big Train & BCC Baseball Summer Camp t-shirt that will entitle the camper free admission to all Big Train home games at Shiryley Povich Field during the 2015 regular season. For an additional $90, the participants in the Advanced Development Player Camps may attend the regular Big Train Camp in the afternoon until 3 p.m. 301-365-1076

Kids Camp Fundraiser Lunch - Burlington, KS
LWC will be serving chili, chicken & noodles, and baked potatoes at the museum's annual Kansas Day celebration. Various desserts will also be served. Proceeds will go towards sending students in grades 3-5 to camp this summer. LWC expects to send over 20 kids to camp this year. Holiday Break Teen Knitting Camp - Minneapolis, MN
In this 3 day knitting camp students will have the opportunity to work on either a basic scarf or a pair of mittens. For those who are new to knitting or want to fine tune their knitting a purling the scarf is an ideal choice. For those who are confident with knitting and purling the mittens are a great way to explore double pointed needles as well as some shaping. 2016 Duluth FCA Youth Sports Camp - Duluth, MN
The Duluth Youth Sports Camp is a day camp for young athletes entering grades 2-7 (Fall 2016) who want to develop their skills in several sports and build their personal character. Campers will choose two sports to train in for the duration of camp and will be divided into groups for age appropriate training. Kid's Campout with the Prickly Pear Living History Museum - San Antoni
Do you want to help your kids build a connection to nature, but aren’t sure how? Do you struggle to get them away from screens? On March 19th and 20th Government Canyon State Natural Area and the Prickly Pear Living History Museum will be co-hosting a camping event for kids ages 10-16 and their parents. No screens allowed, but no one will be bored. Instead, we’ll talk about how local Native Americans survived and thrived in the same places we now call our home. For hands-on learning we’ll have reproduction tools, weapons, and natural resources for everyone to explore. Along the way, kids discover how to be hike leaders and why it’s important to be good caretakers of the land. We’ll provide most of the equipment. Maximum of two kids and two adults per group, so that more kids can enjoy the experience. Space is limited to 12 people. RESERVATIONS REQUIRED! Our last event filled up fast. Tracey Bartholomew is once again offering a high-level College ID Camps held at Columbia University in the City of New York. College ID camps are open to girls entering grades 9 - 12. This College ID Camp is a collegiate showcase and competitive training program for players who plan to play at the college level. Staffed by the Columbia Womens Soccer program, and various other high academic programs ranging from Div 1 to Div 3, this camp is multi-faceted in that it gives top players: 1) the opportunity to be seen by top college coaches; 2) a better understanding of the college soccer environment ; and, 3) the skills they need to become even better players, taught by some of the very best coaches of the game. 845-548-7621
