Skyhawks Beginning Golf Skyhawks Beginning Golf focuses on building the confidence of young athletes through proper technique and refining the essential skills of the game. Skyhawks has adopted the SNAG (Starting New At Golf) system as its curriculum. SNAG is specifically designed for the entry-level player; SNAG simplifies instruction so that young players can make an easy and effective transition onto the golf course. No need to bring your own clubs--all equipment is provided. The students will be having camp at a park, not on an actual golf course. All participants receive a t-shirt and a merit award. The participant-to-coach ratio is approximately 8:1. Participants should bring appropriate clothing, two snacks, a water bottle, running shoes, and sunscreen. Its snowing in June! Inspired by the movie Frozen, campers will explore all things snowy... summer style! Building a snowless snowman, taking a field trip to an ice cream shop, designing their own mittens, ice skating, creating snow dough, making snow cones, and more! Acorn (Pre-school: Ages 3 - 5) - Mount Shepherd Retreat Center
Acorns will spend the week creating nature-inspired crafts, taking a wagon ride, cooling off with water play, hiking Little Mountain, playing, exploring and having an all-round great time. Acorns will enjoy a separate worship service with age appropriate songs and lessons. Acorns are led by trained staff at a ratio of 1:6. Acorn camp is for children who have not yet attended Kindergarten and are potty trained. Acorns go home before lunch but will be provided a nutritious morning snack.
