Siena Saints field hockey invites you to a fun, yet intense, camp designed to help you get ready for your season. We will help you improve your fundamental skills while you work to learn new elements of the game of field hockey that will take your game to the next level. Whether you are an elite player or trying out for your team for the first time, we want to help you reach your goals. This camp is for boys and girls ages 13-17, the cost is $320 per camper. A 15% discount is available to groups of eight (8) or more campers that must be done online with a group discount code. No additions will be allowed after the initial submission of a group. A 10% sibling discount is also available. ***The Generation S Club membership promotion MAY NOT be combined with the group discount.*** Online registration will end ONE WEEK before the start of camp. Camp signs are posted on Highway 37 starting 4 miles west of Garrison. Directions to Camp From Minot: Take highway 83 south to route 37 west (toward Garrison). Follow route 37 approximately 4 miles past Garrison, look for "Youth Camp" sign and country road 13. Follow Triangle Y Camp signs to camp. Children learn literacy skills through songs, poems, literacy centers, small and whole group activities, and read-alouds. Children engage in play and activities that are related to alphabet knowledge, phonological awareness, print knowledge, comprehension, reading and writing. The core of our literacy program was created at the Bank Street College of Education in New York. Meets twice per week. Shooting & Finishing (12-14y) - Swope Soccer Village
This is a recreational & competitive level camp open to boys and girls 6-14 years-old. Players will improve their performance on the attack by becoming the ultimate threat in the offensive third: The goal scorer. Players will learn proper mechanics and techniques of shooting and finishing in various game-like scenarios. After completion of the Shooting & Finishing camp, we recommend progressing to the Goalkeeper & Striker Training course. Saturday Discovery with Nelli Shevelkina (Ages 6-11) - Young People
Skills in the visual arts are built in the same way as learning to play a musical instrument or sport: by practicing and training, and by challenging you with new techniques and ideas. In Drawing and Discovery, young artists ages 6-11 will explore fundamental concepts of line, texture, shading, and color through the fun, creative, and age-appropriate projects. Students will try their hand at figure drawing, portraits, volume and perspective, and experiment with professional art materials. Students will work independently or as a group according to their age, level of experience, personal interest and individual artistic style. Note: This class will be offered continuously during the year, allowing students to progressively develop skills in visual literacy, perception and creativity progressively.
