Learn the code, live the code! Hone your skills! Students will learn techniques to safely wield a saber. The mind, the body, and the spirit will be challenged! Class lessons include meditation, yoga, fencing, and some elements of Parkour. As students learn these skills to have a chance to be chosen by a Knight, one must also craft their own saber. As such, each apprentice will design and build their own saber that is truly theirs to keep. Small power tools and soldering techniques will be taught so students may craft their own personal saber. Before being able to take the Advanced Saber Academy Class, your child should have already completed one of our Beginning Saber Academy classes (formerly known as Jedi Academy). 206-957-1533

Come join us for a HUGE weekend in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. Pastor Joel Lawrence from the Twin Cities will be coming down. We are planning a weekend where we can come alongside each other as student and speak and grow in our faith together. This is a time of unity for our area, we want to be closer than ever before to friends in our area displaying the love of Christ. So we we will be partnering in this retreat with Badger CRU from Madison in our larger group meetings! There will be football, Capture the Flag, and an awesome opportunity to make friends while being in community! Registration is only $30! Register sooner rather than later. Wrestling Camp - Germantown Friends School
The Germantown Friends School Wrestling Camp is open to students of any ability. Our goal is to give you a dynamic week of training tailored to your ability that will help build the foundation for a great wrestling career. We provide a safe, enjoyable environment and emphasize the ethical aspects of the sport. Participants will work on techniques in the morning, including set-up actions, positions, throws, offense, counter offense, bottom, and more. Live wrestling will take place during the afternoon. The camp will be divided into two groups, junior wrestlers (grades 1 - 5) and senior wrestlers (grades 6 - 12). GFS Wrestling coach and former college wrestler Paul Hammond will not only be directing the camp, but he also will be sharing his passion for the sport he has been practicing since he was fourteen. Bus transportation is available to and from Center City for $100 provided 17 campers sign-up on or before June 1 for transportation during the week of July 5 - 8. 215-951-2384
Invention Convention - Winter Session - Adams Elementary
Held in Computer Lab. Using Lego Mindstorms robots, Terraformers software, Circuitry, Solar Kits, Keva Planks, Rocketry, Technology and do-it-yourself projects, our curriculum challenges kids to design and construct 3-D innovations individually and as a team. This is a full year STEAM program (science, technology, engineering, art, math) with all new lessons for fall, winter and spring sessions that do not repeat. Design a star wars robot and Mars Rover, program an adventure in space, construct a solar robot, test out circuitry, build a castle, bridge or dragon…and lots, lots more! Students acquire a basic knowledge of geometry, physics, technology, programming, circuitry, energy, sculpture, art and design. In addition to logical thinking, our program stimulates students thinking in a different way to generate innovations from their own imagination and discover their creative talent.
