The Summer Camp Show @ Wonderland Ballroom - Washington, DC
The Summer Camp Show is back. There's no better time to hang on to that summer camp feeling than September. The Summer Camp Show is a comedy show lampooning summer camp and other childhood tropes. Admission is free and there is free alcoholic bug juice. Summer Teen Camp - Louisville, KY
$150 Ages 12-17 Monday-Friday 3pm-7pm

Holiday Break Teen Knitting Camp - Minneapolis, MN
In this 3 day knitting camp students will have the opportunity to work on either a basic scarf or a pair of mittens. For those who are new to knitting or want to fine tune their knitting a purling the scarf is an ideal choice. For those who are confident with knitting and purling the mittens are a great way to explore double pointed needles as well as some shaping. This class is for students age 12-18. --- This class meets December 28, 29, and 30, 2015 from 1-3pm. Register online or call 612-925-2454.

Toddler Boot Camp: 'I'm a Big Kid Now' - Battle Creek, MI
Youngsters and their families will enjoy stories, crafts, songs, and surprises at Toddler Boot Camp. This themed four-week story time is geared to children 1-5 years old to encourage them to transition from the baby stages to a big kid. Stories and songs such as "Bye Bye Binky," " No More Diapers," and "No More Monsters," will be shared to make transitioning for parent and child a fun experience.

Cooking Camps - Chopped - Capital View-Homewood Local Park

Our version has the added twist of focusing on different cuisines every day of camp. So, each day the Tiny and Gourmet Chef campers will be presented with a basket with 3 or 4 ingredients, which reflect these different cuisines?French, Italian, Mexican, Asian and ?All-American?. Fun Filled Field Trips - Old Trail School
Fun-filled field trips will be taken each day to enable campers to explore the exciting opportunities available in our community. Each morning will begin with a short educational reading and activity related to the field trip. Lunch will be eaten on the trip and a thematic afternoon snack will be provided. Each location offers campers the opportunity to play and explore. Campers should pack their own lunch. Field trips include: Cleveland Zoo, Great Lakes Science Center, Natural History Museum and Lake Farm Parks. Trips will be arranged according to weather and lunch should be packed in brown paper sacks or plastic bags to allow for easy disposal while on field trips. Musical Improv - Pop Songs Level 2 - Eric Schackne - iO West
Youre making up songs, and they sound pretty great. Everybody thinks so. Yet, youre curious how to make future songs sound pretty greater. This workshop moves past the rigid structure that got your improv songwriting on its feet, and smoothes out the edges. Week one takes you back through song structure and function in finer detail, adding some new ways to build on simplicity. The second week works on two pairs of skills – beginnings/endings & leading/following. Week three delves into the wild world of fancy tricks and slick pop moves to prep your tool belt for heaps of song types. McLaren Half Day Week 2: Creative Chemist - McLaren Park
Half Day Camp is open to children who are entering PreK (must be 4 years old) or Kindergarten in the 2016-2017 school year. Creative Chemist This is a week all about chemistry! In addition to our usual nature treks, each day we will also conduct a hands-on, kid-friendly chemistry experiment. Launch a mini-rocket using baking soda and vinegar, create ooey gooey slime, learn fire safety with endothermic and exothermic reactions, and much more! 415-876-3764

The Mind Thats Mine - 5th-6th grades - Wichita Collegiate School
Instructor: Timko How does your brain learn best? Through the course of a week students will explore this question using the latest brain research. Students will discover how learning impacts their own attention, language, memory, higher order cognition and social cognition. Simulations, hands on activities, group discussions, brain scans, and video clips will be the focus of instruction.
