Whether your child is a real ham or standup comedian, they will love this class. Improvisation games, made up characters, silly settings, and ridiculous problems to solve, they will use it all to make the audience crack up! This class is perfect for the shy student who needs to be comfortable in front of the class or the class clown who has some wacky characters up their sleeves. Students will participate in ensemble building, improvisation games, and exercises to stretch their imagination as they develop skills to think on their feet. Our Camp program is extremely comprehensive covering: compulsory and optional skills, basics, dance, strength, and flexibility. Our camps are designed for all gymnasts, from beginner to elite. Our day camp can accommodate all gymnasts over the age of 6. Our student to coach ratio of 8 to 1, ensures that your child will have a great experience with some of the best club and collegiate coaches from around the country. Campers train in the renovated Ford Center Gym. We have added a 50ft Tumble Track, in ground tramp and a new loose foam bar pit. Great Outdoors June 27th-July 1st 9am – 4pm (Ages 5 – 11) Monday – Friday Its back to nature in this camp and we mean literally! If it has to do with nature and the great outdoors we are all over it! These days kids seem to be losing touch with nature, so in this camp we are going to bring them back to the wild side. Kids will leave civilization behind as we head out into the great unknown to learn all about nature and surviving the outdoors. Campers will get the ins and outs of navigating trails, compass use, telling time by the sun, identify animal tracks, interact daily with animals, make fossils, build a drift shelter, survival skills, make Native American crafts, outdoor cooking (more than just smores) and so much more. By the end of camp you might not get your kid to come back into the house! Pint sized survivalist fun is on order for this camp on the Wild Side!
