Wiz Kids Camp ( Grades 7 - 9)Broadway is coming to Plainsboro this summer! This camp will feature songs from The Wizard of Oz, The Wiz and Wicked. Daily vocal, acting and dance lessons will be enhanced by fun theater games and activities. Family and friends will be amazed by the performance on the last day of camp. Special Note: The performance will occur at 3:30 pm on Friday and camp will conclude at 4:00 pm. To learn more about Recreational Arts programs and teachers visit their website: www.rexarts.org [/] Pre and post camp care is available at Millstone River school through WWP Community Education for an additional fee on their website. We certainly had a lot of fun playing around with the name of Camp Kupugani on the ride up. Once we got to the site for the drop off I was pleasantly surprised at how fast our boy seemed to acclimate to his new surroundings. Journey to the Jungle! - Alliance for the Arts
Journey to the Jungle is a week long camp that explores the classic story The Jungle Book! Our students of all ages will learn songs that take us on a journey through the jungle with Mogli and Baloo and the classic characters. This camp will integrate classic and contemporary scenes, songs, dances both from from the movie and beyond into our own version of The Jungle Book! In visual arts, they will explore sets, costumes, and prop elements this engaging tale of growing up and friendship! Camp will end in an informal presentation to showcase the fun had camp! Classes will revolve around a specific artist each week, their life story and how they became so influential in the art world! We will also create a projects based on these artists work. May 10,17,24,31, June 7, 14 (Ages 6-10) Rockland Ice Arena Our spring skills sessions will focus on improving the fundamental skills that make a complete hockey player. Our certified staff and Pro Hockey instructors will teach skating stride, edges, puck handling, shooting, passing proficiency and overall hockey competency. Our approach for teaching these skills will be challenging yet fun. Players will be introduced to fresh drills and techniques that will make them better all-around players There will be a special emphasis on skating Skating is the foundation of our game and we have put together an opportunity that puts 100% focus on all aspects of skating.
