LATEST CAMPS NEWS: Junior Adventurers: Outdoor Explorers - Junior Adventurers!
Calling all junior adventurers for another summer of discoveries! In this half-day camp, your sons will enjoy all that The Heights campus has to offer. With beautiful stands of native tree species, numerous bird boxes, and a room full of past discoveries, there will be no lack for exciting new areas of learning. Two days will be dedicated to the animal kingdom – mammals, insects, reptiles and more. Another will focus on seeds and plants. – we cant live without them! Two days will also be devoted to experiments and discovery, bringing their knowledge to life. In the course of daily adventures around campus, campers will climb the trees theyve heard about and capture the insects theyve drawn. With a take-home booklet filled with artistic learning exercises, your son will be drawing on his discoveries from this camp for years to come! Staff: Peter Vitz, 4th grade homeroom teacher, has taught natural history at The Heights for 5 years. Contact: Peter Vitz at The Heights School, Notes: Usual dress is normal summer attire. Amazing Summer
I have very fond memories of my own summer camp experiences and wanted my daughters to build their own memories. Little did I know they would be so overjoyed to go to Hidden Valley. Unlike my time back in the day, we've got great pictures and videos of all the fun that had. Amazing summer memories for sure!

This is a Leadership Camp that will be held on the campus of Christian Brothers University. The students will reside on campus during this week and will partake in leadership exercises, classes, and community service projects each day. We have leaders from around the city that will be in attendance each day to meet each student and to ensure they are in the know about what is going on in the city. The students will have homework each day and will go through a rigorous course designed to mold the leaders of tomorrow. In this class, students will begin learning the basics of rhythm, musicality and the primary positions and terminology used in classical ballet, all through a creative syllabus designed specifically for baby ballerinas, by Mary Van Dyke, Director of Childrens Ballet Theater! This camp is designed to help campers learn the high level fundamental skills needed to become a great shooter. Coach Lubbers teams have consistently ranked as one of the best FT and 3PT shooting teams not only in the RMAC but in the country. CCU Consistently ranks in the top 10 in the country in 3PT%, FT%, 3PTFG Made and FT Made. In 2015 Coach Lubbers led CCU to the programs 1st ever National Championship. Learn the basics of golf including, putting, full swing, short game, rules and etiquette from teaching professional and head coach at Oakland Community College. Classes are small and offer individual attention. Range balls, 9 holes of golf, gifts and lunch included each day. Beginners and advanced golfers are welcome.
