CBMM’s Kids Club summer camps for 6-7 Year Olds - Saint Michaels, MD
Beginning June 20 and continuing through July 29, the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum is offering its week-long, half day Kids Camps, which bring age-appropriate Chesapeake-themed camps for children 4-7 years of age. Led by a CBMM educator, young Kids Club campers explore the magic of the Chesapeake Bay’s people, animals, and watercraft through fun and interactive activities, stories, games, and crafts. CBMM’s summer camps for children 4-5 years of age are offered during the weeks of June 20, July 4, and July 18; camps for children 6-7 years of age are offered the weeks of June 27, July 11, and July 25. Daily camps take place from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., with campers meeting at CBMM’s Dorchester House and exploring the museum’s 18-acre campus and numerous exhibition buildings as part of the program. Participation is limited, with camps filling fast and pre-registration required. The cost for the week-long camp is $125 for CBMM members, or $150 for non-members, with scholarships available. The half-day language immersion camp for nursery is a perfect introduction to Avenues unique teaching style, paired with the fun of summer. It will accommodate all levels of knowledge and experience in the target languages, serving as a bridge for incoming Avenues students and a learning opportunity for families who have been curious about immersion study.
