One of our most popular camps! This camp is a young persons ticket to the world of Veterinary Medicine. Our lessons will give young vets an opportunity to look into the exciting careers of real veterinarians, and allow them to be involved in related hands-on activities and experiments. Each camper will receive his or her very own medical kit. Sample Topics: Sheep heart dissection, DNA extraction, Clinical procedure, Diseases and Parasites, First Aid, and much more! Radiant Camp - Radiant Camp
What is Radiant Camp? Radiant Camp is a camp experience like none other! After attending Radiant Camp, each student walks away with new friendships and having been able to experience God in a deeper and brand new way. With strategically planned adventure activities and powerful chapel services, this will be the best week of the summer for your student. Who can come to Radiant Camp? Kids Camp and Youth Camp take place at the same time and in the same location, but run on separate schedules, so that students experience a camp appropriate to their age group: * Kids Camp is for students entering 3rd-5th grades next fall (younger grades must be at least 8 years old at the start of camp) * Youth Camp is for students entering 6th-9th grades next fall When and where does Radiant Camp happen? Radiant Camp takes place August 11-15, 2015 at Grace Adventures Camp in Silver Lake, Michigan. How much does Radiant Camp cost? $310 per camper includes all meals, housing, events, and camp shirt. * A $75 non-refundable deposit is required to register. * Payment in full is due July 12, 2015. 269-629-7111
Park Adventures Camp - Historic Yates Mill County Park
This adventure camp allows participants to gain a sense of accomplishment by attaining goals in a unique historical setting and diverse natural environment. Daily camp themes include (1) Explorers & Mapping, (2) Pioneer-Farmers & Agriculture, (3) Millers & Mechanics, (4) History Detectives, and (5) Artist-Naturalists & Ecology. Among other activities, Day 1 includes a hike around the park, orienteering exercises and a canoe float; Day 2 includes a planting activity and visits to a local organic farm and the State Farmers Market; Day 3 includes a mill tour and an inventors workshop with simple machines; Day 4 includes a group mystery to solve and a road trip to the NC Museum of History; and Day 5 includes wildlife studies and sketching, pond dipping with nets and cane pole fishing. This program is almost full. Consider the waiting list as a backup option. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is a drop off program for ages 7-14; fee: $184.00/child (includes a $4.00 mill tour).
