Students will be escorted from New Traditions to Frog Hall. Pick up is at Frog Hall when class is over. Spring 2016: Survivor Frog! Have you ever wondered how to make fire without matches, purify water, and build your own shelter? Or what you would do if you were stranded on a desert island? If so, then join Survivor Frog! We will learn to recognize and prepare edible plants, track and stalk wild animals, and make rope and baskets out of plants that grow in your neighborhood park. Our amazing Animal Ambassadors will be our guides as we gain survival skills, learn to work as a team, and explore the natural world all around us! NO CLASS: 4/1 415-876-3764

This was the first time our daughter was going away for the summer and we were understandable cautious but optimistic. Doing the research on Brewster before signing up helped because there were so many positive reviews. I'm happy to report they lived up to those reviews in so many ways. I was especially impressed at how the counselors made it seem like every kid was a priority. This makes me wish I could go to summer camp! We'll be back next year!... Read More...

The Recreation Department is once again offering one-week day camps that will be held at Lessenger Elementary (30150 Campbell). Campers are asked to wear sneakers/tennis shoes (no sandals, flip-flops or open toe shoes) each day and to bring their own sack lunch (including beverages) unless otherwise noted. Registration fee includes all trips, camp t-shirt, craft and supplies and snacks. For $10 drop your child off at 7:30 am or pick your child up at 4:30 pm, both options for only $20! Full Day Camp - 9:00AM to 5:00PM This is a full day camp and will include following three sessions: 1. Introduction to Programming, Web Programming & JavaScript : 9:00am-12:00pm 2. 3D Printing and Digital Designing : 1:00pm-4:00m 3. Game Design using Minecraft Redstone : 4:00pm -5pm In the morning session, students will learn to make web pages and will make a mini website. They will learn programming fundamentals while learning JavaScript. Students will apply their JavaScript skills on the website. Students can take their website home on the last day of the camp. After lunch, they will dive into the world of 3D printing and get to know why everyone is so excited about 3D printing & endless possibilities it offers. They will learn how to design objects in 3 Dimensions. In Digital Design, students will learn how to create graphics for web use or printing.
