They call is the 'Birchmont Experience' on their website. I call it the Birchmont Fun Fest because that's just what our two kids went through. Although they are only a year apart you would think they grew up in separate cities. What amazed me is how close they became. That was worth the price of admission! TEEN/TWEEN CAMP: flower power - Saint Petersburg, FL
You asked – we listened! We’re debuting 5 mini-camp sessions designed specifically for the “older kiddos!” These camps focus on fun and skill building over 3 consecutive afternoons of concentrated creation – allowing time for larger projects and deeper investigation of themes hand picked from customer recommendations! These camps run from 1-4 in the afternoon and are designed for students in 5th grade and up. Early bird registration rates are $75 for 1 mini camp, $100 after May 15. August 2-4: FLOWER POWER – Power to the petals! During this camp you’ll be learning the basics of flower arranging and creating artworks inspired by flowers.

Youth Football Camp - Des Arc, AR
This is a NON-CONTACT sports camp. Each camper will receive positive individual instruction on the game of football. Local 2016 area college football signees along with former Arkansas Razorbacks Clint Stoerner, Tommy Harris, and Matt Harris will be in attendance. Ouachita Baptist University All-American Brent Calhoun, Waymon Johnson, and Dallas Cowboy great Cliff Harris will encourage youth players to work their hardest at the camp. High school athletes, coaches and football staff will work at the camp in order to provide each camper with quality instruction. Each camp session will also deal with the teaching and discussion of character issues such as honesty and sportsmanship. Each camper will get a chance to earn awards at the end of camp day. This is a great opportunity for local young boys and girls to have a great time in a fun camp. Don’t worry parents. There will plenty of water provided… The cost of the camp is $40 per camper. The camp tuition includes all camp activities, a camp T-shirt, hydration station, and lunch. Concession stand will be provided and parents are invited to stay and watch! Summer Camp @ Villa-Parke Group D ( 11-12) - City of Pasadena
S.T.E.A.M. into fun with this innovative and dynamic summer camp. Villa-Parkes Enrichment Camp creates an exciting learning environment that explores the five core concepts of the S.T.E.A.M. curriculum: science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics. Each weeks activities are based on a theme. For example, during Space Exploration Week, campers may take a field trip to the Griffith Observatory, base their art projects around the solar system, do astronaut training activities for fitness and learn space themed vocabulary in Spanish. Campers do wacky science experiments, explore technology and mathematics through Lego(R) robotics in the computer lab, complete engineering challenges and attend language lessons including American Sign Language and Spanish. The camp also incorporates traditional camp arts and crafts activities like painting, drawing and beadwork, as well as ceramics instruction and the use of pottery wheels. Daily activities include at least 90 minutes of high-energy physical fitness. Specialized sports instruction is offered for both tennis and golf. Campers participate in recreational swim two times per week. Camp counselors go into the water with the campers and well-trained, certified lifeguards are always present. Capoiera THURS (grades 3-8) - University City Arts League
Capoeira is a Brazilian martial art that combines elements of dance and music. It was created in Brazil mainly by descendants of African slaves with Brazilian native influences. It is known by quick and complex moves, using mainly power, speed, and leverage for leg sweeps. Students work on physical coordination, group awareness, and communication. Students are recommended ( but not required) to take both the Monday and Thursday classes to get the most out of this program.
