Requirements: All counties must provide chaperones. Youth and chaperones must stay at the camp until checked out. Welcome to a place where dreams come true! A place bursting with fairy tales, adventure, laughter, and wishes. With a little faith, a little trust, and a little bit of pixie dust, we are bringing this Dream Camp to you! The week begins under the sea with mermaids, sharks and octopus! From there we’ll fly off to Neverland to visit Hooks Lagoon. We'll ride a magic carpet to Arendelle for Princess Anna's birthday, and journey through enchanted forests full of beasts and woodland animals. Tween/teen Yoga Camp - Camp Hill, PA
The focus for this program is to inspire and empower tweens and teens and to establish a deeper sense of self respect and self discipline so they can live a more balanced and fulfilled life. We will empower tweens/teens through journaling, breathing practices, meditation, aerial yoga and mat yoga. We'll have fun and learn to trust others and ourselves through partner yoga poses. Though drop in students are welcome, we encourage participants to enroll in the the entire four week program because each week we will build upon the lessons of the previous week. Camp runs 5-6:15pm on Tuesday, July 19 and 26th, August 9 and 16. Please note there is a break the week of August 2. A minimum of 4 students is required to run the program, so please register early! A refund will be given if the minimum number of participants is not met. There will be a maximum of 8 participants, based on the number of aerial yoga hammocks, so pre-registration is required. What is in an eye? Students will explore the visual systems of mammals through the dissection of a cow eye! Identifying various cow-eye structures, they will discover how the cow eye compares to a human eye! By testing their sense of sight, participants will begin to appreciate the little things – in our eye (right down to the little light-detecting cells) – which help us to see the world. *Note there is no meal with this event* (630)9075987
