The Advanced Camp offers serious game improvement for the serious junior golfer. The camp concentrate on instruction which will take a campers game to the next level, with the emphasis on mental conditioning, course management, and the short game. By utilizing tournament-like conditions, campers are taught and tested on those skills identified as being mandatory to successfully compete at even the highest competitive junior golf levels. Kid's Summer Clay Camp - San Pedro, CA
CLAY CAMP - 3 days Monday, June 20th, Tuesday June 21st and Monday June 27th, 2016 8:30am - 12:30pm at Seaside Studios San Pedro Projects will include making fairy/troll habitats for the garden! The first 2 days in camp we will be forming our projects utilizing basic hand building techniques such as coil, slab and pinch pot techniques. The 3rd day (Monday of the following week) will be for glazing the piece with the goal of having a finished fired piece by end of the mixed arts camp July 1st. Kid's clay camp is recommended for kids between the ages of 7 and 13 years of age. Clay camp is $85 per child per session. It is highly recomended to do both clay and mixed arts camps if possible as they tie in nicely together. Enroll in both Clay camp and Mixed arts camp for the best value $175 (clay camp is Monday and Tuesday June 20th, 21st and Mon 6/27 from 8:30am - 12:30pm) Early registration discount is $10 off if you enroll your child by June 15th, 2016 Ask us about sibling discounts. Fishing for Families - Ned Smith Center for Nature & Art
Join us for a great day of aquatic adventures at the Ned Smith Center! Families are invited to share the joy of fishing with your up-and-coming anglers, while learning about the complex environment of the Wiconisco Creek. Ample time will be dedicated to casting instruction and practice, as well as fishing along the creek. Equipment is provided. All participants must wear closed-toe, hard soled shoes that can get wet. Each child will receive a spin cast reel and rod at the conclusion of the day. Thanks to our program partners Bass Pro Shops, Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission, and Doc Fritchey Chapter of Trout Unlimited, we are able to offer this camp at a reduced fee. The High School Choir Camp is open to choral students who are entering grades 9, 10, 11, or 12. Intensive study of the upcoming All-State repertoire is the primary focus of this acclaimed program for high school singers. One set of the All-State audition music will be provided to each camper at no additional charge. **Students need not have previously been a member of a TMEA All-State choral ensemble. Professor James Morrow, Director of Choral Activities, and Professor Suzanne Pence, Professor of Choral Music Education, conduct. The next team sport to open up for registration in our new Grade 5/6 Team Sports Development Program will be Girls Lacrosse. The goal of this program is to help girls develop basic lacrosse game skills and to provide opportunities to apply these skills in modified game situations. This program will be coached by Ms. Margie Anderson, former NCAA Division I College player (UMass) and coach (UNH) and one of our coaches of the MS girls 7 & 8 grade Girls Lacrosse teams and by Mrs. Christy Woodburn, grade 5 Assistant. Practices will be held on the following Wednesdays and Fridays: April 20, 22 , 27, and 29 and May 6, and 11. In addition, a small number of games/scrimmages are scheduled on Monday 5/2 (Hudson Youth at OTS), Friday 5/13 (the Saints at OTS), Saturday 5/14 (noon CLE at OTS), plus on Wednesday 5/18 (Revere Youth at OTS). Minimum number of participants will be 12 Registration fee is $125 and the registration deadline is April 17, 2016 Players are strongly encouraged to bring their own goggles, mouth guards and sticks.
