Common Application Boot Camp Essay - The Miami Valley School
Seniors participating in the Common Application Bootcamp will complete–in its entirety–the 2015-2016 Common Application. This includes the basic demographic and personal information, as well as the activities list and essay. Students will have 1:1 meetings to discuss essays and other portions of the Common Application. Shubert Summer Theater and Arts Camp - Shubert Summer Theater and Arts Camp
The Shubert Summer Theater & Arts Camp is a program for rising middle-school students (5th-8th grade as of fall 2016) who want to explore interests, potential, and opportunities in the arts. The camp offers students a chance to take in-depth classes in dance, music, theater, visual arts, and creative writing while in an arts rich environment. The camp is open to both New Haven and non-New Haven residents. Located at adjacent Cooperative Arts & Humanities High School, the Shubert Summer Theater & Arts Camp is situated in the heart of downtown New Haven, surrounded by theaters, galleries, and museums. In addition to an arts atmosphere, the camp is staffed by a combination of professional artists, teaching artists, and emerging student teaching assistants from Cooperative Arts & Humanities High School. Campers may either sign up for the Theater & Arts Camp, which allows them choose classes in music, theater, creative writing, dance and visual arts, or sign up for the Musical Theater Camp , which offers a curriculum of singing, acting, and theater-related activities. Our goal is to provide you with the opportunity to reach your highest potential. This is for advanced & elite level committed players and supportive families members. Ever wanted to learn how to create your own mobile app? Well here is your chance with App Creation and with Lafayettes Tech Coordinator, Mr. Wieand! Students will begin by learning some basics of computer science and block coding. As students develop skills we will begin using MITs App Inventor 2 to create apps compatible with Android devices.
