Enjoy your days at camp and your nights in your own bed! New this year we are offering our Mega Buddy Campers the option of coming as Day Campers. You will be assigned a cabin and team for the week, sign up for three achievements like archery, music, fishing, drama and more (15+ to choose from). Suggested drop off and pick up times of 8:30 and 6:00 but we can tailor for your familys needs. Steel Pan Camp - MacPhail Center for Music - Minneapolis
Whether youve just started learning an instrument or have been playing for years, playing steel pan is fun for everyone! We invite all instrumentalists to come learn to play pan - from percussionists to tuba players, violinists to bassoonists! If youre looking for a new, fun way to play music, youll love learning about this Caribbean instrument from Trinidad and Tobago. Youll have a chance to try out all of the instruments - from the high lead pan all the way down to the deep, low tones of the bass pans. Youll work with your instructor to learn basics of playing steel pan and play in several ensembles with everyone at the camp. Family and friends are invited to attend a concert on the last day of camp. SKILLS Percussion/Drum Set

Week 3 - Bottle Rockets and Fantastic Science - Episcopal Day School
In this STEM camp students will design and construct a rocket out of ordinary materials. They will construct parachutes for the rockets and see how long it takes for the rockets to fall back to the ground after launch. Adventure Camp C (ages 12-14) - Activity Center Park
Combine outdoor adventure and nature education with this week-long camp at various parks that includes geocaching, hiking, fishing, archery, games, survival challenges, and an overnight in Grant Park. Learn to track animals in the woods, cook over a campfire, and pitch a tent. Make lifelong friends at this unique summer experience. Campers need to bring a filled water bottle and a packed lunch that does not require refrigeration. All campers receive a T-shirt. Register early to ensure your spot! 2016 RVA 6-8 yr. old Fishing Camp - Forest Hill Park
This week with Virginia Fishing Adventures offers campers the opportunity to learn the basics of freshwater fishing, from casting, to lure and bait choices, to the best places to catch fish. We fish mostly private ponds with this younger camp to ensure success. Safety is our number one priority, so all campers will wear life jackets when in the water or on a boat.
