My son loved Camp Broad Rock. There was a variety of indoor and outdoor activities for my 12 year old son to choose from at this camp. This camp is for children from preschool through grade 12. Unlike other camps, Camp Broad Rock has an indoor aquatic center. My son was excited to know he could swim regardless of what the weather was like outdoors. Youth Environmental Justice Alliance (YEJA) presents... YouthPass to the Future! Campaign for Free Bus Passes Do you believe in Youth Power? in Transit Justice? Come to our "YouthPass to the Future" Campaign Kick-Off! OPAL's multi-racial youth program, Youth Environmental Justice Alliance, is organizing a community event to raise awareness about a campaign to sustain and expand the YouthPass program in Portland. Our goal for the campaign is to show the city, TriMet, our schools, and our community that affordable public transportation is important for youth to lead healthy lives, be able to thrive, and be successful. The youth-led event will officially launch our campaign and engage with community members and decision makers, especially in East Portland neighborhoods. There will be educational booths about transit justice, powerful youth testimonies, and cool performances! YouthPass to the Future Campaign: We want all high school students in Portland to be able to go to school and access opportunities that prepare them for success. Transit is an educational right! Let's permanently fund YouthPass and expand it to Parkrose and David Douglas High Schools! Free food. Guest speakers. Youth Stories. Performances.

HalfTimers - Start to Finish Soccer Camp - The Prairie School
Start to Finish Soccer Camp has a long-term mission for youth soccer players to find enjoyment and success in soccer, both at the same time. No matter what the age or experience level you may be, Start to Finish has something for you. This three-stage program is divided by age and/or ability to provide a challenging, yet fun environment to find soccer success. Start to Finish has a well-balanced curriculum that emphasizes individual technique, which is the building block of high-level soccer. Players receive technical repetition in highly active and enjoyable activities. Players also learn from an energetic, enthusiastic, and involved staff that have a passion to teach soccer to young developing players. Our goal is to get youth soccer players to love soccer outside the parameters of organized camps, leagues, and practices. -- Students need to bring the following daily: soccer shoes for wet/dry surfaces, shin guards, soccer ball (labeled with name), sun block, water bottle, and wear clothes appropriate for the weather. -- Location: Ruud Soccer Stadium -- Instructors: Start to Finish staff, led by Prairies Varsity Soccer Coach Corey Oakland (262)752-2680

Campers will also make their own pirate costumes, treasure maps and search for buried treasure. They will have a swashbuckling good time and if they are brave enough, they may have a chance to walk the plank! See you this summer, me hearties!
