The Junior Wildcat promotes skill development for ages 8-13. The emphasis of the camp is to teach the fundamentals of basketball through drills and game play. Specific skills that will be taught are shooting, dribbling, passing, rebounding, and defense. All of the skills and fundamentals taught will be sharpened through drills and put into game play. The coaches and players of Chico State Basketball will be teaching and emphasizing the same skills that are taught at every Chico State practice. All Chico State Basketball Camps provide challenging and exciting basketball instruction to develop the skills of youth basketball players in our community. Young Artists will be inspired by Springtime and use their creativity to create three very unique artworks in this class. Students can expect to sculpt with wet clay, make a mixed media sculpture and create a mixed media canvas. Our focus is to teach our players the values of hard work, while having fun, learning and improving. We designed the camp based on our many years of hockey experiences in Europe and North America. We try to teach our campers as much as possible during our intense (and fun) on-ice sessions, but also during our important off-ice sessions (nutrition, dryland off-ice exercises etc.) We do not run a celebrity camp, but a camp based on our knowledge and expertise - the TT Training System that resulted in success beyond our dreams.
