What If a Child Can’t Swim?
Parents do not have to worry if their children cannot swim. There are many safety precautions in place to protect youth. For example, qualified lifeguards certified in CPR and First Aid are always on duty to make sure that children are safe when swimming. Additionally, the summer program will assess all kids’ swimming abilities. There are instructors on site that can help interested youth improve their swimming skills or learn to swim.

The Chattooga High School Boys’ Basketball Team is hosting our annual basketball camp for boys and girls in Kindergarten – 8th grade in the beatiful new gym! Camp Dates: Monday, July 18th – Thursday, July 21st Time: The camp will begin each morning at 9:00 a.m. and will run through 12:00 p.m. each day. Cost: $30 per camper. Each camper will receive a t-shirt. Campers will also receive lunch each day. Kids can be signed up the morning of the first day of camp (next Monday, the 18th) beginning at 8:30 a.m. Registration forms/payments may also be dropped off with Amanda Larkins at CHS Tuesday-Friday this week between 9:00 and 3:00. Take a step back in time…back before electronics and gaming systems rules our boys lives. Back to a time when boys played outside, used their imaginations, created things, destroyed things…all to learn how they worked! This week we will have tons of fun as we learn all kinds of stuff our grandparents (and even some of our parents) played as kids. Learn the art of paper airplane making, stickball, build tripwires, work on secret codes, first aid, Navaho code talkers…and so much more! 816-436-6228

Students will learn the art of baking and decorating a variety of Quick breads, Yeast breads, Cakes, Pies, Cookies, as well as how to marinate and make simple, balanced stir-fry meals for vegetarians and meat lovers. The DMSA Day Academy has established itself as North Floridas Premier Summer Soccer Day Camp. It is specifically designed to teach skills, tactics, and fundamentals of soccer. This will be accomplished by individual instruction by our highly qualified coaching staff and age-specific curriculum. The environment will emphasize fun. Every camper will receive a DMSA T-shirt and water bottle for each camp attended as well as one soccer ball.
