Using slabs and colorful decoration make a Fairy Door to attract wee beings to the Art Center! The Fairy Doors will be installed on the Adrian Center for the Arts campus and premiered at our Spring Fling on May 1, 1-5pm. You will be able to take your door home the week after the event to install at your house, garden, or favorite location. All materials and firing supplied. 517-265-1651

This Spring the Vermont People’s Convention will bring hundreds of people together as a critical step in building a unified movement for healthy communities and a just society. On April 30 & May 1st at Montpelier High School, individuals and organizations working for disability rights, racial justice, immigrant rights, climate justice and labor unions will come together for a weekend to share, learn and take action together. The organizers of the convention are working hard to make this an intergenerational event with a parallel Youth Activism Summit for teens, and a Kid’s Camp for children 12 and under. To make lasting and far reaching change we need the participation of Grandparents, Parents and their Children! The Kid’s Camp at the People’s Convention will not only provide quality childcare, but will be a fun space for kids to learn about and participate in creating a more just and vibrant world. Through stories and activities, kids will have opportunities to learn and think critically about various struggles for human rights and dignity. With art projects, cooperative games, and nature exploration kids will be encouraged to express themselves and make friends. CrossFit HighGear offers two JumpStart camps to choose from! KIDS CAMP runs from June 6 - 10 while TEEN CAMP runs from June 13 - 17 both from 10 am - noon. Registration includes a t-shirt and daily snack! Campers will participate in a strength and conditioning program that combines gymnastics, body-weight calisthenics and weightlifting elements. An activity for Mum, Dad and the kids to participate in and discover the Sport of a Lifetime with your family! Nightly sessions will cover the basics and also provide parents with activities and drills to do with their children which will allow them to play and enjoy the sport of tennis. This is an opportunity for all ages and all levels! Come on out and have fun together! Each session is 1.5 hours long. | NEW OFFER THIS YEAR! Would you like to keep the memories alive of your son or daughters experience at tennis camp? This year we are offering the option to purchase a thumbdrive of at least 30 photos of your child playing and being involved in tennis camp activities. The price is $20 and sales tax is included.
