In this brief course we will review the evolution of photography from its beginnings to the digital cameras of today. Along the way, youll be introduced to some of the most influential individuals who played an important role leading to the creation of modern photography. We will discuss how painting influenced photography and how photography influenced painting. In just three sessions, well have a chance to see the oldest surviving photographs, Daguerreotypes, Silver Nitrate prints, early color photographs, modern pixel- based images and much more.
