2nd Annual Fit Kid Camp! - Harrodsburg, KY
We had SO much fun last year we decided to do it again!!!! Sign your kiddo's up for our 2nd annual Fit Kid Camp! Camp will run from June 27-July 1 from 9-11 daily at Anderson Dean Park. Eazywork Bartendaz in collaboration with City of Rochester Department of Recreation and Youth Services and Blessings in a Bookbag Community project present THE INVESTMENT: Health, Wellness and Fitness boost. This FREE community event and backpack giveaway promotes health nutrition & wellness gearing kids up for back to school by stimulating their minds and bodies to grow and effect our community in a positive way and teaching them how to make the right decisions with their body so they can make great decisions in the classroom. Survivors Supporting Survivors TEEN SUPPORT GROUP This group is designed to offer an opportunity for the teens to talk about the struggles of a cancer diagnosis without becoming a counseling group. We set the table in a variety of way to help the healing process happen much faster. We guide them in real life challenges and allow them to discuss and support each other in ways you don’t see in normal life. Come prepared for an outdoor farm experience: dress weather-appropriate! It's gonna be jammed packed with exercises on great communication, problem solving skills and fun team building moments that bond these teens together. Work Weekend - Holcombe, WI
Always work to do to get the camp ready for the campers. Two roofs will have steel installed on them, cleaning of the chapel and some of the cabins, yard work. We will also be switching the shop and the game room so lots of hands will be needed there. At least 9 holes of miniaturegolf will be moved to the area around the garage (soon to be game room). Food will be provided. Let us know if you will be staying overnight so some cabins will be cleaned and ready. For those staying over Saturday night there will be a chapel service on Sunday morning. Lots of hands make light work so join us for a weekend of working, fishing, fellowshipping and enjoying God’s great outdoors.
