LITTLE BANDS CAMP! Grades 3-12. Campers will learn and perform ?The Eruption of the Great Volcano?, an exciting original musical composed by Josh Grekin. Everyone will learn to play instruments and even write and perform their own songs which we will add to the show! In a Little Bands musical, the characters are all musicians and the actors accompany each other on the instruments as they sing, act and dance. Whether you are already advanced, or just beginning, everyone will learn vocal lessons and skills on piano, guitar, bass and drums. This is our Culinary Camp week. This week we will be moving around the Bay Area taking daily field trips to learn how to cook. Each day we will head to a different kitchen around the Bay Area and learn from a different about daily cooking themes. As always we will experience this while using public transportation to navigate our way. ***Note****: Due to the locations and the variety of different chefs we are working with on this camp week, we must advise that there will be dishes with nuts, gluten, and other possible food allergies. 2005 Mariners ($315 for 2 weeks, Members) - Nantucket Yacht Club
Formerly Beginner Sailing. Please choose 2 weeks minimum. This class is taught in Rhodes 19s, Capri 14s, and Optimists. Mariners is designed to give the sailor a strong fundamental base of sailing skills such as rigging, tacking, gybing, sail trim, hiking, and some advanced boat handling. The overall goal is to make the sailor comfortable on the water in varying conditions, while eventually becoming proficient sailing alone in the Opti. Inside the Mariners class, we typically divide into three color groups: Forest Green (Novice), Lime Green (Intermediate Mariner), and Army Green(Advanced Mariner).
