We all know that the YMCA has been around for years. But instead of a outdated program, the summer day camp was fun and fresh. Between the swimming, the sports and the crafts our kids were certainly kept busy. Not once did we hear, "I'm bored!" That's a huge change of pace for them. 180 Snow Camp 2016 - Trenton, NJ
The cost of this year's Snow Camp is $90. New visitors who are not already attending a church youth group can attend for free! Please sign up in our lower foyer or have your friend who attends FBC or FCS sign you up. Just be sure to give them your adult t-shirt size. Once registration is completed and luggage is loaded, we will head out to High Point Camp (www.hpcamp.org). We will be stopping for dinner on the way Friday night. It's our 11th annual Fullerton Football Youth Camp. Please join us from Thurs. June 25-27 for three full days of football and fun. Fundamentals will be learned, lessons will be earned, and calories will be burned. We need all the support we can get. 2016 Teen Safe Driving Camp - Forsyth, GA
The Monroe County Sheriff's Office, in cooperation with the Georgia Public Safety Training Center, will be holding the 9th annual Safe Driving Camp for ages 15-17. The one day camp will teach new drivers about the consequences of distracted driving, the dangers of driving impaired, tips for defensive driving, skid recovery techniques, safety at railroad crossings, and demonstrate important vehicle maintenance practices. The camp will take place at the Georgia Public Safety Training Center from 9:00am until 4:30pm on Saturday, July 23, 2016. Anyone wishing to attend must complete the application and return it to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office either in person or by mail. Deadline for applications is Friday, July 01, 2016. Applications may be picked up at the Monroe County Sheriff's Office during normal business hours. Space is limited.

Equestrian Adventure - Winding Creek Stables
This awesome day camp runs from 9 am until 4 pm. This session is best suited for riders who are proficient (at minimum) at the walk and posting trot. We will work on building upon riding basics, jumping, and horse care. Campers will be presenting a drill team performance at the end of camp, and we will even go on a trail ride a in DuPont Forest on Friday, August 5th! This camp is open to ages 10-16. Riders must take at least one lesson at Winding Creek to be evaluated for camp due to the overnight trip and trail ride components. Four of Shakespeares plays will be studied over the course of 8 weeks; Midsummer Nights Dream, Julius Caesar, Richard the Third, Romeo and Juliet and The Tempest. Each week scenes will be analyzed rehearsed and the next week performed. Outside rehearsal will be a necessity for this class. The more time you put in the greater the reward! Are you ready to learn what it takes to be an Outdoor Adventurer?! Spend the week learning how to pack a backpack like a pro, work as a team to navigate using map and compass, cook over an open fire you built yourself, and basic shelter construction using a tarp and Para cord. Youll spend time learning how to meal plan and what equipment is needed for a trip, as well as how to read the weather. The Outward Bound staff will help you escape to nature and survive with ease. This camp includes two field trips to put all of your new skills to the test! An additional waiver is required with registration. All registrants agree to the policies and procedures of Youth Programs, including change fees, cancellation fees, deadlines, and other details found in the program materials and parent handbook.
