Join us for Visual Arts Camp where we explore emotions, nature and art fundamentals that include drawing, painting, sculpting and more. How Does Summer Camp Increase Self-Esteem?
Intentional programming focuses on increasing youth’s social and developmental skills. Increased confidence and self-reflection happens when staff members push campers outside of their comfort zones. Youth learn a lot about themselves and the world thanks to team-building activities, icebreakers, and a well-rounded curriculum. Kids finally feel like they can be themselves without worrying about bullying.
Campers learn useful skills like how to make a bed, conflict resolution, and public speaking. There are many opportunities for youth to step up and be leaders. The increased self-esteem helps youth perform better in school and at home. Most programs also include volunteer experiences...

ENROLL YOUR KIDS IN THIS SUPER FUN SUMMER CAMP: June 29th-July 3rd 10am-1pm All Star Dance Studio: 981 Lomas Santa Fe Dr. Solana Beach. Ages: 4-8 We will be doing 1 hour of Hip-Hop, 1 hour of different fun and creative Art Projects, and 1 hour of Zumba. The price is $150 for the week. Cut-a-thon ⭐ Cold Creek Camp Scholarships 4 Homeless Youth of Clark Co
Each $25 haircut donation sends one child to camp. Come out for an amazing new style! Please RSVP to be added to the Cut-a-thon roster. Our team of stylists will be taking clients on a first come first serve basis. Friends! I would like to share with you a HUGE announcement and partnership with Cold Creek Camp! This summer is the inaugural series of Summer Camps to serve the homeless youth of Clark County and North County! We plan to serve over 250 youth. We have invited Second Step Housing, Aspire and EVERY shelter in the area. This will be a FREE CAMP for them! WE CAN NOT DO THIS ALONE! We need as much help as we can get with fundraising! The vision is that every child leaves Camp inspired to DREAM BIG despite of their present circumstances. We want every child to also be able to leave with a NEW back pack full of supplies, and at least $100 gift card to be able to buy a new school out fit and a new pair of shoes too! Our goal is to raise $10,000 by July 20th. Here is how you can help... 1) Your own personal donation......

Survivors Supporting Survivors TEEN SUPPORT GROUP This group is designed to offer an opportunity for the teens to talk about the struggles of a cancer diagnosis without becoming a counseling group. We set the table in a variety of way to help the healing process happen much faster. We guide them in real life challenges and allow them to discuss and support each other in ways you don’t see in normal life. Come prepared for an outdoor farm experience: dress weather-appropriate! It's gonna be jammed packed with exercises on great communication, problem solving skills and fun team building moments that bond these teens together. When: Monday, October 24th, 2016 Time: 6:00PM- 8:00PM Where: Farmstead Corn Maze (The Farmstead 1020 S. Rackham Way Meridian, ID 83642) Who: Any young adult between the ages of 13-18yrs who has been diagnosed with cancer. Students will experience the process of creating a play from a simple idea to the performance on stage. They will get to pitch their ideas, help form and shape the storyline, write dialogue, create characters and perform for an audience. This unique class is ideal for any student interested in all the aspects of theatre. INSTRUCTOR JOHN WALDRON received his BFA in theatre from Virginia Commonwealth University. As an actor, director, and instructor, he has been working in the region for over 20 years. He has directed shows at Aldersgate and MVCCT. John can be seen in the motion picture Talk To Me starring Don Cheadle and was featured on Investigative Discovery show Who The Bleep!. This class is for the artist who wants to move beyond the basics and explore realism through painting, color theory, and color mixing. Young Jedi apprentice, youll create your own Jedi name and develop balance and coordination through fun Jedi training simulation, study the basic astronomy of our own galaxy and those far, far away.
