Send a Kid to Camp Campaign - Morrisville, VT
This year, we mark 40 years of encouraging, educating and strengthening families. To celebrate, we're helping send kids to camp with camperships of up to $400 for kids whose families cannot afford such an expense. 100% of your donation goes directly to a kid's camp tuition. Donate through the “Donate Now” heart on our main page, or form a team to help raise funds for camperships. It really is the power of community that builds healthy kids. Your company, organization or club can demonstrate support by planning a fundraising event, then posting photos here along with results. Together we can make this a great summer for deserving kids.

Under the direction of GFS Physical Education Department Director, Deb Brackett, training sessions will address such questions as, How do you know when to lead and when to follow? What are your emerging strengths as a leader? What makes an activity fun for campers? Are you prepared to handle unexpected situations? Can you take on the responsibility of leading warm-ups, cheers and other activities? Do you know what it takes to become a successful athlete yourself? LIT Program participants will work directly with campers and support both the camp director and the senior counselors in the daily activities of Girls Sports Camp. Get ready for a week of fun, adventure and sports! Go Tigers! ROAR! Swims at the Germantown Cricket Club add to the summertime fun! This camp is open only to GFS students. Bus transportation is available to and from Center City for $100 provided 17 campers sign-up on or before June 1 for transportation during the week of June 13 - 17. 215-951-2384
