Date: August 12, 13, 14, 2016 Arrive: 6:00 p.m. on 12th Depart: 4:00 p.m. on Sunday the 14th Camp Fees: My contract says $550.00 per day for 50 people. $10.00 per person per day over 50 people. Children 7 and under are free. This may change a bit but not much if it does. Food: We have traditionally hosted and pd. for the Friday night meal as we aren’t traveling. Saturday 3 meals, and Sunday 2 meals will be provided for the actual cost of the food, and divided by the total number of people coming. Children 7 and under are free. All of you who have come to the Lion’s camp in the past are familiar with the Nazi who was running it. I am pleased to announce that she is no longer there. A wonderful lady by the name of Jessica Thomas is running it now. Her and I discovered today that the Nazi manager wrote us into a different date than I was told at our last reunion there. Fun Filled Field Trips - Old Trail School
Fun-filled field trips will be taken each day to enable campers to explore the exciting opportunities available in our community. Each morning will begin with a short educational reading and activity related to the field trip. Lunch will be eaten on the trip and a thematic afternoon snack will be provided. Each location offers campers the opportunity to play and explore. Campers should pack their own lunch. Field trips include: Cleveland Zoo, Great Lakes Science Center, Natural History Museum and Lake Farm Parks. Trips will be arranged according to weather and lunch should be packed in brown paper sacks or plastic bags to allow for easy disposal while on field trips. Community Boating Center of New Bedfords mission is to "Teach positive life values to youth through boating." This summer we are working even more in incorporate US Sailings REACH program into our summer programs. The REACH program works to teach children science, technology, engineering and math in fun and innovative ways. It helps kids learn STEM subjects while engaging in fun land and water based activities. Our programs also follow the philosophy of safety, fun and learning in that order. This summer Community Boating has Chosen to assign students to their classes.
