LATEST CAMPS NEWS: Day Camp 1 - Denton A. Cooley Pavilion
Campers are taught all aspects of the game. A typical day at camp includes station work with emphasis on fundamentals such as shooting, passing, footwork, defense, rebounding, and ball handling. We also have a variety of contests, drills, league games, and a tournament at the end of each camp. Throughout our camps we put a special emphasis on our core values, Appreciation, Enthusiasm, Competitiveness, Teamship and Accountability. With appearances from our Texas Mens Basketball coaching staff and players, our campers get an inside look at what it is like to be a part of an elite division one basketball program. Sport camps and clinics conducted by The University of Texas are open to any and all entrants. Enrollment is limited only by age, grade level, gender, and capacity restrictions as specified by each camp. Please note that NCAA guidelines prohibit payment of camp expenses (e.g., transportation, camp fees, spending money, etc.) by a representative of The University of Texas athletics interests. NCAA rules also prohibit free or reduced camp admission for prospects (7th grade and above in mens basketball). Sorry, no camp scholarships available.

Fall Teen Adventure Weekend - West Branch, MI
Canoe trip on the Au Sable River with overnight lodging at YMCA Camp Timbers. Co-ed, ages 13-17. Join YMCA Camp Timbers staff for a TEEN ADVENTURE WEEKEND canoeing the Au Sable River! The weekend begins with a Friday night stay at Camp Timbers before launching on the Au Sable River Saturday morning. After spending Saturday canoeing the river, participants return to Camp Timbers in the evening to enjoy S’mores around a campfire. The weekend ends with debriefing, unpacking, and a sampling of adventure activities at camp on Sunday. Cost is $75 for Y members and $90 for non-members and includes: meals, lodging, use of canoeing gear, transportation between Camp Timbers and the Au Sable River, and programming. Class Shows will be Friday 4/1 and 4/8 at 7PM in The Loft Armed with the ability to execute all of the elements of a Harold, you will now learn how to improvise the structure of your shows, leading to wildly inventive pieces that challenge you to express yourself to the fullest extent of your creativity, and help that creativity evolve. This level includes four performances on one of the iO stages. Passing Criteria: Students must demonstrate an ability to navigate all of the elements of a Harold when those elements are not in a training wheels structure. Students must have demonstrated an ability to make choices within a show to drive it structurally using the various elements at their disposal from Level 5.
