How to defend our Faith. Jan. 20-22, 2017 Grades 7th-12th Cost: $60.00 We want to invite all 7th-12th grades to join us for a weekend as we look at how to defend our faith. We will spend time in Bible study, team building, break-out sessions, and recreation. We will look at: 1. Why defend my faith? 2. How do I know Christianity is true? 3. Is God real? 4. Can I trust the Bible We will also have break-out sessions discussing: 1. Why does God allow evil? 2. How to share and defend my faith at school. 3. How to prepare a bible study/sermon. 4. How do I balance sports and faith? 5. How do I have a quiet time? 6. Evangelism tools: using different tools to share the Gospel. Be A Civil War Soldier: KID’S CAMP - Mansfield, LA
Have you ever wanted to be a Civil War soldier? Are you between 9-12 years old? On Saturday 24th, in connection with National Public Lands Day, Mansfield State Historic Site is hosting an “immersive” event that will allow you to experience what many of the soldiers of the American Civil War did. Be enlisted, set up your camp, drill, enjoy a period type lunch, and more! There are 15 slots available for this program and pre-registration is required. Registration is $25 (paid on day of program) for each child, which includes the meal. The last day for Pre-Registration is September 17th. Chincapin Week 2 - Chincapin
Must register for a minimum of 2 weeks. Chincapin Camp – For girls who are new to horseback riding or would like to focus more on other activities, this track allows them a wholesome balance of camp experiences. Chincapin campers ride 3-4 hours per week and spend the rest of their time at archery, canoeing, fishing, arts and crafts and more. Chincapin Camp with Horseback Riding Focus – For girls who live and breathe horses, this track allows them the maximum amount of time possible in the barn. Horseback Riding campers spend 5 hours per week riding, and also learn about horse care, tacking, etc. When not in the barn, Horseback Riding Focus campers choose from all the other activities that Chincapin offers. 440-256-0716

Ready, rehearse, and act! Join our new Theater Performance Guild to develop your performance skills and put on original productions with an ensemble of like-minded actors. Make new friends while learning the basics of acting, improvisation, playwrighting, and stagecraft, and much, much more! Create your own characters and write your own scenes – the sky is the limit to the worlds we will explore and plays we will produce. A goal of the guild is to build a group of young actors who want to further develop their skills, have fun onstage and offstage, and hone their craft together. All experience levels welcome and encouraged to join, from beginner to advanced. Performances will be ongoing and run on eight-week schedules (subject to change due to any calendar/holiday conflicts). Session ends with a performance on Saturday, March 5th at the Black Box Theatre open to all family and friends. (No materials required aside from your imagination.) *WANT MORE FUN? A wide variety of fun activities including swimming, bowling, golf, organized games, special events, and arts and crafts. This program offers a 5 to 1 participant-staff ratio. Personal Care Attendants are encouraged to participate with any youth needing one-on-one attention. Any participant attending summer school has the opportunity to be dropped off by the school bus at the program location. Please indicate you would like this service when you enroll for camp.
