NEED YOUR CAMPER(s) TO STAY AFTER 2PM? CHECK OUT OUR AFTERNOON OPTION! AFTERNOON EXPLORATIONS @ BCC! $105 Rising PK-5 ONLY June 14-July 29 2:00pm-6:00pm RUNS EACH WEEK OF CAMP. CAMPS CLOSED July 4-8 In addition to the fun and exciting time your campers(s) will have during the morning camps at Greensboro Day School, they can also take part in the Afternoon Explorations Program! This program is offered for children in pre-kindergarten through 5th grade and operates from 2:00pm-5:30pm, Monday through Friday. The Afternoon Explorations Camp is much more than a place to send your child in the afternoon; this camp involves structured weeks that incorporate hands-on activities and weekly outside activities related to that weeks theme. The Afternoon Explorations Camp will be offered the weeks Summer Programs is in session. Please sign your camper(s) up as soon as possible because camp enrollment is based on a first-come, first-served basis. Epidemiology: Disease Investigation - NCSSM Durham Campus
So long as humans have existed on this planet, microbes have coexisted with us. Theyve lived in our bodies and thrived in the environment, posing a silent and constant threat. Theyve caused fevers and panic, helped with digestion and immunity. In this introductory course in human microbial disease, students will be introduced to the impact that various microbes have had in our lives. Students will learn the principles and methods of disease investigation: investigating patterns of illness in populations, identifying infectious microbes by visual assessment, mode of infection, and symptoms. Students will be able to identify the characteristics of various pathogens and infectious agents, be able to explain how diseases spread, and will construct models, create presentations, and collaborate on projects related to epidemiol 919-416-2635

Teens Exploring Identity with Phil Levine (Ages 12-17) - Young People
This class gives students a real opportunity, as artists to explore the topic of identity and Family. The results have been creative and exciting. Students explore topics like family, friends, personal exploration, ethnic and racial origins and many others. They have the chance to visualize old and new themes that inform the viewer and surprised the artists. This is a very special class that promotes communications about self-realization through the visual arts, in a safe and supportive environment. Advanced Skills Camp - Pete Maravich Assembly Center
Open to girls entering 7th -12 grades. The camp focuses on assisting campers that maintain a solid foundation of skills learn more advanced parts of the game. Campers need to be physically prepared to train and ready to bring high energy to the gym. Coaches will cover each area of the game, position specific training as well as competitive drills. The camp schedule includes 2 training sessions on Friday, 3 training sessions on Saturday and finishes with 2 training sessions on Sunday. Overnight and commuter options are available. *Due to incurred costs to Tiger Volleyball Camps, any and all refunds will be subjected to a processing fee of $10.00.
