Located in the beautiful mountains of West Virginia, Horseshoes Adventure Camp is a week you will remember for a lifetime. Adventure Camp is a 6 day residential camp with 3 hot meals a day served family style. Many activities are available from fishing, creek adventure, dance, arts and crafts, library time, sports, and swimming just to name a few. 2 Weeks of Aikido Camp. Monday through Friday Camp Hours: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm Early drop (starting from 7:30am) off & late pick up (up to 6pm) up also available. We start at the dojo in the morning with formal Aikido classes. Then we clean up, eat lunch, and weather permitting, change into beach wear and head to the beach for lots of Aikido-related games and races, like sumo wrestling and bokto watermelon-cutting. Afternoon Session! - Creative Collaboration Lab - Main Street School of Performing Arts
Through a series of activities and collaborative sessions, students will work in groups to create original performances limited only by their own imagination. Instructors will guide students to unlock their creative potential. This workshop centers on interdisciplinary arts creation. For example, a cellist might work with a dancer to create an original dance with original music. A group of actor could potentially work with a group of musicians to set music to a theatre scene. ** If you sign up for a morning session as well as this afternoon class, there will not be lunch provided however there will be a supervised lunch break ** 9522241340.0
5) Yellow Strikers - Bolles San Jose Campus
Our "Yellow Strikers" class is designed for those players who are actively competing. Typically, this includes high school varsity and/or ranked players. Players will refine technical form, physical fitness and mental toughness to prepare for advanced level competition. Building upon a sound tennis foundation coaches will foster an understanding of the singles and doubles strategies necessary to compete at the tournament level. *Entrants must sign up for a minimum of 2 days per week.* 904-256-5071
July 5-8: Lets Grow! (Ages 8-11) - Mountain Kids!
This week campers will have a chance to get dirty (ok, thats every week!), plant their own giant sunflower and visit a working farm. On our adventures into nature we will talk about what is growing in the forest and how old trees are in between games and free play promoting personal growth! 505-699-6230
CLAY ART CAMP: SEA WORLD - Ben Robertson Community Center
Join us for a fun week of imagination and creative travels to sea world! Campers will create a star fish bowl and unique wall art using multiple pottery techniques including coil, pinch and slab methods. Explore a new media and create one-of-a-kind masterpieces. Campers will get to experience using a pottery wheel on the last day of camp. Materials: A separate fee of $25 is payable to the instructor on the first day of camp for art materials, clay, glazes and kiln supplies. Campers should bring a snack and water each day. Our camp days will include harvesting, making garden snacks, singing, storytelling, garden caretaking, garden crafts, and investigation of the natural world. Each day has a theme (past examples: Bugs, Seeds, Chickens & Eggs). This camp serves 15 campers with a 1:5 ratio of instructors to campers, allowing us to tailor camp activities to the ages and interests of those present. For 4-6 year olds. This camp program runs Tuesdays and Thursdays 9:00-1:00. After-care option 1:00-3:00, with pick-up at 3:00. Sibling discount of $25 for second childs registration.
