The ASTA/NJ Chamber Music Institute at Rutgers University Neil L. Aaronson and Margaret Zufall-Roberts, directors Session I: July 24-29, 2016 Session II: July 31 – August 5, 2016 Ages 12 to 23| commuter and residential options available | performance sample video required for placement purposes only Now in its 12th year, the American String Teachers Association of New Jersey (ASTA/NJ) Chamber Music Institute provides participants with the opportunity to perform in small ensembles under the guidance of top teaching artists. Students participate in daily rehearsals, master classes, elective courses, special presentations, and a variety of social activities. Each session features a concert and master class with a professional visiting artist ensemble and concludes with a performance featuring student ensembles. Camp Shalom, established in 1954, is the oldest and largest day camp in Dane County and is sponsored by the Jewish Federation of Madison. Camp Shalom is for campers going into grades K-5 and Camp Shalom Noar-Bogrim, a hybrid of Camp Shalom Noar and Camp Shalom Bogrim, is for campers going into grades 6-9.
