EveryKid Yoga Camp August 22nd-26th - Chicago, IL
Vive Yoga is excited to present EveryKid Camp A mindful approach to summer fun! As the summer nears to an end and the first day of school is right around the corner there is still time for Summer Fun! EveryKid camp was born out the idea that everykid deserves an opportunity to be empowered with skills that connect them to themselves and the world around them. Give your child an opportunity to dive deep into self exploration through play. One of the most powerful skills a child can develop is their ability to connect with others and themselves. Empower your student this summer with the power of mindful play and learning. Students will enjoy: Daily Yoga Vive Yoga will get your kids moving. They will learn the basics of yoga in a fun and safe way. Each yoga class will differ and will often include music and creative body expression where students can create their own yoga poses. Movement & Art Camp - Friendswood, TX
Kid Creations & Bay Area Pilates are teaming up for another 3-hour Movement & Art Camp. Kids will have FUN learning the benefits of pilates in a choreographed-for-kids pilates class for one hour and then will be escorted down the sidewalk to Kid Creations for two hours of arts and crafts. Snacks will be provided. Workshops can be attended separately. The cost is $45 for both. To come to Kid Creations alone from 1:00-3:00pm, the cost is $30. Advanced Robotics with LEGO EV3-Gayton Baptist - Gayton Baptist Church
Using LEGOs New EV3 Space Challenge Set and Activity Pack, campers are introduced to robotics with a very current and real-world theme, traveling to and living on Mars! Campers will work as scientists and engineers as they progress through a set of lessons, challenges, and projects that fully integrate science, technology, engineering, and math concepts, while prompting creative problem solving, communication, and teamwork. Campers will learn the basics of gears to help them apply physical science and math principles to build effective robots. They will also progress through a series of missions in which they investigate, observe, calculate, and apply their knowledge to solve specific tasks. Our space engineers will conduct research as they explore, plan, and develop three fundamental challenges NASA engineers and scientists are working to solve: How to endure humans can survive in space; how humans can create energy in space; and how robots can help humans explore space. 678-294-9504

Learn the basics of all three activities in the first three weeks and then spend the last three weeks exploring your favorites. Class is limited to the first 10 students. Discover Scuba - CV High School Pool
Supervisor: West Shore Scuba. Students will learn how to correctly put on and adjust their equipment, control their breathing and get accustomed to being underwater and using scuba equipment. They will put their new found skills to use while performing Aqua Missions underwater. In addition to their water time, the students will continue their learning out of the pool and discuss marine biology. The only items that you will need to bring with you are a bathing suit, a towel and a release form. This camp is conducted by West Shore Scuba, a PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) dive center. They use instructional procedures and certifying standards established and maintained by PADI. 717-506-3383

Lets take a close look at one of the most popular subjects in art: FOOD! Whether its still life paintings, pop art prints, or giant Claes Oldenburg sculptures, food has been used in art around the world and through the ages.
