What Are the Activities like at Summer Camp?
The whole point of summer programs is to keep youth busy. Thus, most kids wake up and have breakfast by 8am. Traditional activities include arts and crafts, sports, swimming and boating. There are groups that offer specialized or advanced activities like archery, horseback riding, and sailing. An activity like horseback riding may have an additional cost or require that youth come to camp with special equipment and clothing. Specialty camps have specific classes or activities linked to their mission. For example, academic programs will include classes, religious camps will have Bible study, and leadership-focused programs may have public speaking sessions....

Artlore Studio's Winter Break, Kid's Art Camp! - Erie, PA
It's hard to believe Winter Break for our children is just a couple of weeks away. Artlore Studio will be offering a Kid's Art Camp the Week of December 26th thru December 30th. There will be a morning session from 9am-noon & an afternoon session from 1pm-4pm. We will work on Painting, Drawing, Collage, Fabric Art, Mosaic, Mixed Medium & more, while learning about different artists & different cultures,in a Fun & creative environment. Camp CSI - San Juan Del Rio Catholic School
Calling all future Crime Scene Investigators! Campers will learn how law enforcement professional solve crimes and analyze evidence. Well use the tools used in the field to collect evidence from our mock crime scenes. Campers will learn how a crime is actually solved and learn how Biology, Chemistry and Physics plays a major role in the investigation! Campers use microscopes to analyze fibers, use facial composite software, and more! Sample Projects: Blood Analysis; Fiber, Handwriting, Fingerprinting, and DNA Analysis! Get your kids active for the summer with Two Trails Outdoor Camp! Our participants will engage in a variety of activities such as arts, crafts, nature, sports, games and more. Camp will swim two to three times a week and take one to two no n-swimming field trip a week as well. Campers not required to be potty-trained. Our youngest campers play in their own area where they are closely supervised by experienced Early Childhood Specialists and trained Counselors to maintain a very high staff-to-camper ratio. Each Winter Uprising Faceoff Days will consist of warm ups, presentation and group practice of specific Elite faceoff techniques as well as real time faceoffs. Elite Faceoff techniques will include footwork, stance, hand position, primary move, counter move, GB play, wing play, stick work, and shooting instruction, etc. Individual player observation and instruction will occur throughout. Clinic will conclude with a skill appropriate king of the hill. Literacy (M/W) - Office of Children, Youth & Learning
Children learn literacy skills through songs, poems, literacy centers, small and whole group activities, and read-alouds. Children engage in play and activities that are related to alphabet knowledge, phonological awareness, print knowledge, comprehension, reading and writing. The core of our literacy program was created at the Bank Street College of Education in New York. Meets twice per week.
