Practice and learn how to serve, spike, set, bump etc. This camp will help prepare you to really improve you game and move up the ladder of success! Kids Camp Fundraiser Lunch - Burlington, KS
LWC will be serving chili, chicken & noodles, and baked potatoes at the museum's annual Kansas Day celebration. Various desserts will also be served. Proceeds will go towards sending students in grades 3-5 to camp this summer. LWC expects to send over 20 kids to camp this year. And theres more- During this camp, we will also investigate coding and cad using other programs that encourage technical creative thinking. Too much screen time isnt good for anyone, so part of each day students will explore several types of manipulatives to stimulate their creative minds. StagePlay: Jr. Musical Theater Camp - Palos Park Recreation Center
Unlike the "olden days", when fun was dependent on whatever was readily available, so much of todays youth leisure time is spent staying connected through technology. What would happen if suddenly all that went away? "A Kids Life" will explore that possibility, and thats where the fun and music all begin! The StagePlay program also incorporates valuable life lessons such as teamwork, commitment, conquering fear, being prepared, confidence and theater etiquette. On the last day of camp, our talented young stars perform for friends and family, showing off all that they have learned in only one week. Participants will receive a souvenir camp t-shirt.
