I cannot put into words how much CK has meant to me and I can't wait to relive the experience. Camp was easily the most life changing and happiest time of my life. With that being said....I'm back again!!! Back to plug how amazing this org and non-profit is and back to fundraising for the kids. For those of you who may not know, Camp Kesem is a camp for children's whose parents have been affected by cancer. Camp is their chance to live freely as children without any of the weight and worry of cancer. I'm so excited to embark on this journey again and can't wait until the countdown to camp begins!!! Flippin' Fall Fest Girls Competitive Gymnastics Camp - Fargo, ND
Flippin' Fall Fest is geared towards girl competitive gymnasts of all levels, and features small group sizes to facilitate focused, intense, and personalized training. The camp curriculum features two daily workouts totaling approximately 9 hours. The workouts are designed for systematic progression according to individual ability. Campers spend the sessions attending workouts at TNT Kid's Fitness & Gymnastics. COST: $175 - includes snack and leotard. PAYMENT: $75 deposit due when registering. Full camp payment is due October 21 at check in. REFUND POLICY: The camp fee is non- refundable after September 23, without a physician’s statement. Any refunds given with a physician's statement will be subject to a cancellation fee of $75 of the registration fee to cover expenses already incurred. Once leotards have been ordered, sizes may not be changed. ENROLLMENT: Maximum enrollment for this camp is 120 campers. Register early! CHECK-IN: June 8 at 8:00 am. The Dance Academy Designed to serve the needs of the committed and focused student, 4 to 18 years old, who is seeking to expand their dance vocabulary and dramatically improve their technique. The Academy is calling you! With an emphasis on Classical Ballet and Modern Dance, the Academy students follow a schedule designed by the directors that will also include, depending on level, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop and African Dance. Voice, and Art classes are also offered in rotation. Multi-day training and a comprehensive vocabulary are necessary for any artist to achieve success in the dance world. Compare this with the world of Sports: Kobe, LeBron, Jordan, and all of the Gods of Basketball train every day. We have also seen remarkable results in academic achievement as a result of the character education dance training instills. Young people of NCA learn to manage their time. All Academy Students perform in seasonal concerts and the year end concert and are encouraged to audition for theatrical productions. Guillaume managed numerous school groups and clubs in France and trained the French wheelchair Olympics team for Athens and Bejiing. The program will develop analytic capabilities and dexterity through a combination of pedagogical games, technicals exercises, tactical exploration and an understanding of the importance of time and space. Fencing is the art of quick reflexes, elegant and athletic movements and mental acuity.
