Whether it's one day or a whole week, Camp Pump It Up is where it's at! Discover, explore, invent, and imagine! These themed camps are high-energy, fast-paced and just plain fun for kids. Kid's will spend part of the day playing on our gigantic inflatables and party of the day making new friends during interactive play, crafts, and hands-on activities. BRING: 3 (12 oz) aluminum cans; 1 (28 oz) vegetable or coffee steel can. They will make alcohol stove and housing. We will have a bus that will pick up everyone at church and we will be going to Lake Geneva Youth Conference Center in Wisconsin. More information can be found at http://www.lgyc.org/retreats/lake-geneva-conference-center/ The cost for the retreat this winter is $119 (tentative) which includes 5 meals, lodging, transportation, speaker fees, snacks and supplies. Please give a check payable to "LIVING WATER EVANGELICAL CHURCH" to Pastor Tony Chon. You can also order a t-shirt on the registration, but this will be extra. Truth and Dare: Finding Meaning in Your Fiction with Rhonda Claridge - Ah Haa School for the Arts
Explore through writing where real life ends and fiction begins. This two-day workshop will help you express (and discover) what is meaningful to you through writing: What true experiences motivate your work, and how can you make them truthful in fiction? Where does real life end and fiction begin? Award-winning writer and Colorado Mesa University instructor Rhonda Claridge will work with students on creating composite characters, developing fiction out of what they know, and elucidating the essence of their narratives. Open to Philadelphia Freedom faceoff players first due to field rental. Each Winter Open Faceoff Days will consist of warm ups, presentation and group practice of specific faceoff techniques as well as real time faceoffs. Faceoff techniques will include footwork, stance, hand position, primary move, counter move, GB play, wing play, stick work, and shooting instruction, etc. Individual player observation and instruction will occur throughout. Clinic will conclude with a skill appropriate king of the hill. Players will be split in groups based on age/skill if necessary. 4 Clinic Dates and Times: Jan 9th: 7:30-8:30pm – please note first clinic start time is 7:30 pm Feb 20th: 7-8pm Feb 27th: 7-8pm March 5th: 7-8pm Location: 360 Soccer, 50 Senn Dr, Chester Springs PA 19425 Ages: All ages welcomed, talent will be split into different ages/abilities. This camps highly skilled staff is comprised of the best local professional players, collegiate players, and high school coaches. Come spend a week enjoying the game of basketball in a constructive environment with us!
