LEGO Mindstorm Robotics Camp - Sport Center
This hands-on camp reveals the rewards and excitement of LEGO robotics. Working with a partner, your child will learn about mechanical design, gear ratios and computer programming using the LEGO Mindstorms robotics system. Campers will also be creating their own video game. Participants will create background settings, characters, animated movements and sound effects. Participants will be introduced to computer programming using easy to learn tools and increase their knowledge of robotics technology while enjoying time with their peers. Reading Rockets - Penncrest High School
Reading Rockets is a program designed to be an early intervention for students going into first, second, or third grades. The goal of this program is to provide additional support for students who could benefit from reinforcement in reading skills over the summer. Reading Rockets will help minimize the regression in skills that sometimes occurs over summer vacation. Join in the fun! Our younger campers enjoy busy days filled with games, science activities, Spanish classes, arts and crafts, organized sports, drama, story time, and field trips—all arranged around a weekly theme. Theres also daily swim instruction for our five- to seven-year-old campers given by Red Cross certified lifeguards. Form a team to face the challenge of our extreme expedition camp. Search the globe for bricks and other resources needed to construct a base in the Himalayan Mountains and complete your expedition.
