Not all camps are co-ed. There are some single-gender camps available in addition to traditional co-ed programs.
Single-gender camps are great if parents want their children to focus on empowerment and independence. Many youth today are distracted by the other gender, and this is a chance to give kids a break so that they learn how to be friends with their peers. Taylored Athletes Summer Basketball Camp - Grandview Preparatory School
In 2015, our summer basketball camp program received great appreciation for our in-depth and intense basketball skill development regiment. The boys & girls who attended enjoyed a 1:9 trainer/camper ratios. Current NBA player Alonzo Gee provided teaching and instruction to youth, and our athletes reported a 40% increase in endurance, shooting efficiency, ball-handling, and confidence. Since 2008, our program has worked with over 3,000 youth and been featured in the Palm Beach Post, NPR, Sun-Sentinel, NBC 6, and ESPN760. 2016 Camp Location: Grandview Prep School - 336 Spanish River Blvd, Boca Raton, FL 33431 Camp Hours: 9:00am - 3:30pm Camper Drop Off Monday, June 6th, 2016- 8:15 am - 9:00am | After Monday - 8:30am - 9:00am Important Check - In Procedure - All campers must be signed in and out daily by an adult with an TA site administrator. Your camper will create their own happily ever after! Afternoon Only (1:00 pm - 4:00 pm) Magical Muggles– Still waiting for your Hogwarts letter? So are we! This camp will be for us muggles ready to learn some magic! We will make our own wands, play quidditch, craft potions and get sorted into Houses. Let the magic begin!
