My 12 year old son said he feels at home in this 4-H camp for youth ages 9 to 14. It has helped him become a leader, solve problems, increased his self-esteem, develop independent thinking skills and improved his communication skills. 10 am sign up at the mark. $20.00 driver $10.00 rider. Ride leaves at noon on a scenic route to the Dowagiac Moose and then back to playland hall on Nickerson Ave. Lunch and dinner supplied. Cash bar. Door prizes and silent auction. We want to make this one of the largest events we have done for MDA and send as many kids to camp as we can at no charge to them. If you can make the ride please think about just donating to the cause. Thank You.

Elite Camp - University of Nebraska
This camp is designed to be an intense camp for in-going grades 6th-12th who wish to prepare themselves for high school, college or beyond. Fundamental skill development on offense, defense and conditioning principles for all positions on the floor will be stressed. Both individual and team play development will be improved by attending this camp. Many of the same drills and techniques used by Coach Yori and her staff at Nebraska will be taught. Elite Camp begins in the evening of June 1 at 7:00pm. Registration for overnight campers will begin at 5:45pm and Commuter Campers at 6:30pm. The camp runs all day on June 2-3 and concludes at 4:00pm on June 3. If your camper is also registered for Skills Camp on June 1, there will be a dinner break and the Elite Session will begin at 7:00pm. These will improve Campers independence with using writing utensils for pre-writing skills; self help skills such as buttons, zippers and snaps; and eye-hand coordination skills like cutting or catching a ball.
