Please help us with our 1st Jamison Hook Allstate Coats-4-Kids drive. We are excited to participate in this event with KXLY who have been keeping area kids warm for the last 30 years! With winter around the corner we need to insure the children of our community are taken care of! We will be announcing the winner of the competition as well as kicking off Brett's camping time 10 minutes per coat donated! Lets keep Brett cold!

I've prayed over our children for years. Now it's time to anoint them to pray and teach them the power of declaring the blood of Jesus and the power of speaking His Name!! WE ARE RAISING UP PRAYER WARRIORS! This will help counter act the attack that the enemy has launched on our children! The weapons of our warfare are not carnal...! Let's Infiltrate! BRING: 3 (12 oz) aluminum cans; 1 (28 oz) vegetable or coffee steel can. They will make alcohol stove and housing. Robot Builder - Goleta Presbyterian Church
Campers will learn about the Science of Robotics with historical information, discoveries and advances in robot technology. Newtons Laws will be emphasized all week and each camper will receive three robot kits to work on. Campers will be able to take home their remote controlled robots! This year, Terrific Scientific will be featuring our 3-in-1 All Terrain Robot kit and our 14-1 Solar Robot. In addition to these projects, campers will learn how to solder with our space alarm-soldering project. Learning the skills of wiring, gear building, and soldering will allow campers to go on to more sophisticated robot creations. The 3-in-1 All Terrain Robot is a multi-function tracked mobile robotic kit. Utilize different track modules and make your robot transform into 3 amazing variations: the forklift, rover, and gripper. Using the wired controller, command the robot to move forward, backward, turn, grip and lift. The 14-1 Educational Solar Robot Kit is an innovative solar powered science kit that can transform into 14 different robot modes. Pre-school Camp, Ages 3-4 Pre-school camp is a structured program that will include a morning warm-up routing, physical activity, curriculum topics of the week and snack time. Students will learn social skills, early learning concepts and how to work in a group setting to help them prepare for kindergarten. Tournament and Belt Test - Important information - St. Marks Catholic School
Tournament start times 10:00 a.m. White, Gold, Green belt check-in 9:30 a.m. 12:30 p.m. Purple, Blue, Red, Brown belt check-in 12:00 p.m. Event timing example The White belts would be assigned a ring for testing. Green belts in another ring for sparring competition and the Gold belts would do Form competition in a third ring. When the events are done (approximately 20-30 minutes) they will rotate to another event. All awards will be done at ringside. Form Competition This is where students compete against one another by doing a form in front of a panel of Judges for points (weve been practicing in class). Form divisions are set by belt level. Judges look for intensity, Focus, strength, technique and attitude. The competitor with the most points wins 1st place etc. Tournament Champions There will be a Lower belt Champion (green belt and below) and an Upper belt Champion (purple and above). The competitors who win first place in both form and sparring events will be eligible for this event. This program is for children ages 6 to 12 and runs Mon through Fri from 8am to 5pm. Camp locations: Wigwam Creek Middle School & LP Rec. Center. This camp includes arts/crafts, sports, games, daily swimming & movies. Breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack will be provided. Discounts are available for families enrolling multiple children. The first week of camp which you register for, the FULL camp payment is due at the time of registration. All other weeks which you register, a $20.00 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a space in that week of camp. The remaining camp fee is due 7 days prior to the start date of week in which you are registered. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Price shown is for one child only.
