Final Summer 2016 Kid's Riding Camp - Georgetown, TX
Sign up now for our last riding camp of the summer for children ages 3 - 18. Camps are half days, and kids learn about safety first, equipment, horses and riding in our soft-sand enclosed and covered round pen and enclosed outdoor arena. Kid's are outside getting exercise in the sunshine and fresh air, learning a new skill, having fun, and gaining in self-confidence. What could be better? All classes taught by Eric Clarke, horseman and natural horsemanship clinician with 35+years experience as a professional horse and people trainer, assisted by several of his horsemanship apprentices. Class size is limited. All equpment and horses provided, except for boots (with a bit of a heel please; no sneakers) and helmets (no bicycle helmets). Siblings may share helmets as needed. Greenwing Golf Camp- 2016 Atikwa Golf Club Where: Atikwa Golf Club at Arrowwood Resort Cost: $60 Who: Beginner or experienced golfers- Girls & Boys ages 7-15 When: 8:30-9:30 a.m. or 1-2 p.m. on Mondays starting June 13th- August 1st Schedule: June 13th: The Basics- Grip, aim, posture and ball position. (Meet at driving range) A good setup leads to success as a golfer! June 20th- Irons, divots, and finish. Enjoy swimming, nature study, sports, art, and field trip adventures while playing hard and making friends. All registrations include a camp shirt, a healthy snack, and a visit from a special guest. Heroes - Whip up some patriotic frozen yogurt, enjoy a visit from our heroes in the Police Department, and dress up as your favorite superhero for an epic game of Capture the Villan!
