Beat the heat this summer and enroll your kiddos in our Kid's Camp! Single day or full week registrations available. Ages 7-12. Snacks and all supplies will be provided daily. Your child will also receive an exclusive "Kid's Camp" shirt! Each day, your child will be creating a 16x20 painting, which are displayed on our website. They will be learning about the artist during fun, interactive games and stories. Our campers will be working each day on a self portrait, as well as collaborating on group projects. The Owls Baseball Camp Staff is happy to announce a weekly pitching camp this Fall/Winter. This camp will be ran exclusively by Assistant Coach Trey Fowler and is open to any high school age player looking to take his Pitching to the next level. The 4 week program will be structured to ensure that each player learns more about the most important aspects of pitching including visual focus, mechanical efficiency, and how to attack/read hitters. A throwing program will be implemented to increase arm speed and strength along with drills for efficiency, bullpens, and video analysis to ensure that each player exits the 4 week program a better and more confident pitcher. All sessions will be limited to a max of 4 players in order to assure each receives the individual attention and reps to reach the goals of the program. The Dates for the Camp include Sept 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th. Your childs first experience with tennis will be great fun-- Coach Joce- lyn Rock will be using slower-moving and lower-bouncing balls as well as using a smaller court size with lower net. Her goal is to help young children gain confidence in tennis faster and realize the joy of sports. We will work on hand-eye coordination, tennis strokes, and cooperative play. In Camp Green Science, campers will investigate, discover and explore how the choices we make have a direct impact on the environment we live in and learn simple things we can do to reduce our carbon footprint. Through fun, interactive activities, theyll learn about renewable energy including sun, wind, water and even potatoes! Theyll see the Greenhouse effect up close and learn how cow burps are related to trash and climate change. Campers will learn how to clean our oceans, purify drinking water, and start a compost pile. Theyll investigate why the rainforest needs to be saved, make their own paper, plant seeds in recycled paper planters, and taste fresh honey. Theyll snack on solar smores and swamp juice smoothies.
