Teen Week Overnight Camp - Fort Worth, TX
Teen week was so much fun during 2016, we have added it again for 2017. This is a special session only for those 13 and older. Space will be limited and run at a lower number of campers than traditional sessions. This week will focus on activities designed for older campers. At YMCA Camp Carter Overnight Camp, campers live, play and build deep bonds with their peers. Campers must rely on the others in their cabin groups to share daily responsibilities. Teen Week Overnight Camp, runs from Sunday afternoon until Friday evening and includes 15 meals and overnight accommodations in a fully climate controlled cabin with lots of supervision by our well trained staff.
CentrKid Camp Meeting - Glen Allen, VA
Eric and I will be getting everyone together in the New Fellowship Hall for one last meeting before we go to camp. We will re-visit each camps departure and return times, money that is needed, packing lists, camp commissioning services, rules and expectations etc. If you have not turned in your paperwork or deposits, this will be your last opportunity to do so. If you still need your paperwork notarized, I will take care of that for you at the meeting. All Chaperones, Parents and Campers are welcome. The CentriKid Camp has four openings if your camper would like to invite their friend. Non Hunton Campers will need to pay the full fee for camp of $336. Please let me know by this Sunday's meeting as I will need to drop these 4 slots by May 1st if we are not going to use them. If you have any questions call/text me at 387-7111.

Galaxy Robotics Summer Camp - Piedmont High School
Galaxy Robotics is offering a standard class for elementary and middle school students. Over the course of the week, students will design and build their own drivable robot. On the last day of class, a small, friendly competition will be held for students to experience a real tournament environment. The class features the VEX robotics design system, a system that allows for any style of robot to be built. Students will be placed on robot-building teams consisting of 3 to 4 students each, teaching not only technology but also teamwork. Campers are welcome to enroll individually or with friends. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Camp is designed for participants entering 3rd through 8th grade.
